How the score is calculated
Google ratings, adjusted for the number of reviews, plus reader votes. The same formula for every restaurant.
How we calculate itAbout pizza in Bucharest
In Bucharest, 62 pizza places have enough reviews to make the ranking. Nicky's Pizza (9.8) leads the list, followed by Napoletinii (Tineretului) (9.3) and Napoletinii Portafoglio (9.3).
The top places are mostly in Sector 2, Fundeni, and District 1. If you have an area in mind, filter the city ranking by area and choose from what is left.
With pizza, the dough decides everything. A dough fermented slowly, for 24 to 72 hours, comes out light, with an airy rim and a little char from the oven. A wood-fired oven helps but guarantees nothing. Look for reviews that describe the crust; reviews about delivery say little about the pizza itself.
Nicky's Pizza has 967 reviews on Google, so its rating carries more weight than that of a recently opened place. Our score takes this into account: volume counts as much as the average.
Questions about pizzerias in Bucharest
What are the best pizza places in Bucharest?
Right now, Nicky's Pizza (9.8), Napoletinii (Tineretului) (9.3), and Napoletinii Portafoglio (9.3) lead. The ranking changes as new reviews and votes come in.
How did we choose pizza places in Bucharest?
We looked at Google ratings, the number of reviews, and reader votes. A place with very few reviews cannot rank above one with thousands of opinions.
Is the ranking updated?
Yes. The score is recalculated with every new vote, so the ranking changes when a restaurant moves up or down.
Can I vote too?
Yes. You vote from your account, once every 90 days for each restaurant.
