How the score is calculated
Google ratings, adjusted for the number of reviews, plus reader votes. The same formula for every restaurant.
How we calculate itAbout pizza in Targu Jiu
In Targu Jiu, 11 pizza places have enough reviews to make the ranking. Partener (7.2) leads the list, followed by Ambasador (7.0) and Maestro (6.9).
The top places are mostly in Drăgoeni and Bârsești. If you have an area in mind, filter the city ranking by area and choose from what is left.
With pizza, the dough decides everything. A dough fermented slowly, for 24 to 72 hours, comes out light, with an airy rim and a little char from the oven. A wood-fired oven helps but guarantees nothing. Look for reviews that describe the crust; reviews about delivery say little about the pizza itself.
Partener has 269 reviews on Google, so its rating carries more weight than that of a recently opened place. Our score takes this into account: volume counts as much as the average.
